On Bended Knee

Luke has been up on his hands and knees for close to 2 weeks now. He just started rocking back and forth yesterday. He doesn't scoot forwards yet, but he does go side to side and in reverse. He's well on his way now!

Jump Around

Luke loves his new Jumparoo! The best $35 I have spent so far this garage sale season went for this and a walker! He loves to stand up and move, so he loves both!

Let It Ride

After Mia's party, Auntie Jess and Andy put the Eli and Luke in the wagon for a ride. At first Luke wasn't so sure....

But as he was in the wagon he warmed up a little more...

He was really "chillin' in his ride" by the end of the afternoon!

Pretty In Pink

We traveled west once again to help our niece, Mia, celebrate her third birthday. When asked what kind of birthday she wanted, she insisted that it be a "Pinkalicious" birthday (based on her favorite book) with a pink cake and pink cupcakes with pink sprinkles and pink balloons and pink streamers and even pink tablecloths! When asked what she wanted for her birthday, she determined that anything pink and sparkly would do. Since Uncle Andy was put in charge of buying Mia's birthday present (by just the fact he happened to be the one with a free moment and nearby a Target at the time) I was kind of wondering what pink and sparkly thing he could come up with for a three year old girl. He did pick out the perfect gift for active Mia.... He had locked in his brain that Mia had such a great time at the water park the month before, and being a former swimmer himself, he knew that no little girl could go to the water park again without pink goggles and a pink beach towel!
